ArtFlow: Visual Journaling

Join us for an expressive workshop where you’ll create a visual journal using simple, accessible techniques to spark your creative spirit. The experience begins with gentle, seated yoga and breathwork, supporting creative flow and helping you settle into a relaxed, open state. Light fare will be offered so you can stay comfortable and nourished as the morning unfolds.

Using collage, writing, and a variety of art materials, you’ll explore ways to express your inner voice. Participants are encouraged to bring copies of meaningful images or small mementos from everyday life to weave into their pages. Every life is a story—and your journal is waiting to tell yours.

Guided by Irene Magee, a mixed media artist and trained Expressive Art Therapist with over 30 years of visual journaling experience, this workshop opens the door to a sustainable daily practice of self-expression. No prior art experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to play in a supportive, judgment-free space where there are no rules, only room to explore and create.

Pelvic Floor Workshop

Join Dr. Mackenzie Marci of Whipple City Family Chiropractic and Jenette of Boundless Roots for a hands-on, 1.5-hour workshop exploring the pelvic floor — its anatomy, function, and connection to the diaphragm, core, and spine. Learn how breathing, posture, and pressure management influence pelvic health, including considerations for pregnancy and postpartum.

Dr. Marci will explain the “why” behind the pelvic floor — how it’s structured and why it plays such an important role in stability and overall function. Jenette will then guide movement and exercises to help strengthen and integrate this essential area, leaving you with practical tools to support alignment, core stability, and lasting pelvic wellness.

Increasing & Maintaining Uplifted Energy in Mind & Body

This workshop begins with a gentle, all-levels chair yoga flow led by Jenette, designed to settle the body, quiet the mind, and cultivate ease and presence. The practice supports grounding and nervous system regulation, preparing you to fully engage in the work that follows.
From this centered place, we’ll explore ways to increase harmony within the brain and shift into a more regulated heart-led nervous system. Guided by Anne Grenchus, LCSW, LICSW, MA (Philosophy), you’ll learn researched and cutting-edge strategies to intentionally shift your energy, cultivate uplifted mood states, and support long-term emotional and mental well-being. Because we co-regulate each other’s nervous systems, learning these techniques in a group setting can help you deepen your practice of them.  Some of the practices will include:

• Bilateral stimulation to improve brain harmony

• Biofeedback to reliably encourage harmony in your heart rate

• Guided heart-breathing meditation to encourage a heart-led nervous system

• Contemplative brain spotting to establish a relaible touchstone to use when shifting to positive mood states

Drawing from both Eastern wisdom traditions and Western neuroscience, this workshop offers practical tools you can use in daily life to enhance clarity, resilience, and quality of life.
Anne is a bereavement- and trauma-informed therapist practicing in New York and Vermont, a master’s-level SOCIAL WORK professor, and a long-time meditation program coordinator. Her compassionate, grounded approach creates a safe and supportive space for learning, reflection, and meaningful change.
